"Good wifi in most of house"
I’ve been with TalkTalk for a few months now and the wi-fi has been decent. It works fine upstairs and in kitchen, only gets bit weak in the back room now and then. Streaming, phones and general browsing all work without much hassle. It’s not perfect, but compared to my last provider it’s definitely better, so I’m happy enough overall.

"I’ve been with TalkTalk a few months now..."
I’ve been with TalkTalk a few months now and the router is the bit that’s doing my head in. The WiFi just drops whenever it feels like it, speeds are all over the place, and if there’s more than a couple of things connected it starts acting up. I’ve unplugged it, reset it, done the usual messing about loads of times, but it just ends up doing the same thing again.
Support basically keep telling me to restart it, which is not really a fix when that’s what I’ve already been doing. I work from home, so when it cuts out in the middle of stuff it’s a proper pain. The actual line might be fine for all I know, but the router feels cheap and rubbish

The setup went smoothly for me. There were a couple of small moments where I had to double-check what I was doing, but nothing too frustrating. Overall, I got it installed without much trouble.

"My contract renewed automatically and the price..."
My contract renewed automatically and the price suddenly jumped, which felt a bit sneaky to me. I also found cancelling harder than it needed to be, with extra hassle I wasn’t expecting. Maybe I missed something in the terms, but has anyone else had the same experience?

"I tried moving from TalkTalk to another..."
I tried moving from TalkTalk to another provider it ended up being such a pain. Maybe I expected it to be simpler than it was, but I kept getting different answers from different people, sat waiting on chat for ages, and then still got billed after I’d already left. I kept wondering if I’d missed something or done it wrong, but I had to explain the same issue again and again. Just really frustrating and not something I’d want to deal with again

"I first noticed the bill didn’t look..."
I first noticed the bill didn’t look right and figured it would be a quick fix, so I reached out to support. They said they’d sort it out, but then the next bill came through with the same issue again. I contacted them a second time, and somehow the explanation made things even more confusing instead of clearing it up. At this point, I’m just fed up and tired of chasing something that should’ve been handled the first time.

"Terrible customer service experience"
I spent way too long being passed from one person to another, and nobody actually seemed able to help. I had to keep explaining the same issue over and over, and it still didn’t get fixed. I’m really fed up with TalkTalk at this point, and I can’t be the only customer who feels like this.

"Pretty decent once you get into using it"
I’ve been using TalkTalk for a few months now, mostly without thinking about it too much, which I suppose is usually a good sign with broadband. I’m at home for work a few days a week, and between emails, video calls, and the usual browsing, it’s been getting on with the job fine.
In the evenings it can feel a little slower now and then, especially if there are a few things connected at once, but it hasn’t really caused any major problems. Streaming on the TV works okay, phones connect fine, and the download speed is generally close to what I was expecting.
The only thing is that it has dropped once or twice and I had to restart the router, which is a bit annoying when it happens. But overall, the speed is good most of the time, so I’d say I’m happy enough and would give it 4 stars.

"Finally Got My Router Fixed"
My router issue did get fixed quickly once I finally got through to the right tech guy, and he was helpful. I just felt a bit ignored at first while I was waiting for someone to actually pay attention to the problem.

"Weeks of chasing with no real help"
I raised a complaint weeks ago and it feels like it’s just been bounced from one person to the next. Every time I call, they ask the same questions like nobody has bothered to read the notes. It’s still not sorted, and at this point I don’t really trust customer service to actually deal with it unless I keep chasing them, which I’m completely tired of doing.

"Engineer visit was a little unreliable"
The engineer ended up arriving later than expected, which was a bit frustrating. Anyway, they did get it sorted in the end, so it wasn’t a total disaster.

"TV freezes constantly and the landline is a nightmare"
I’ve had it with TalkTalk TV and the landline now. The TV box keeps freezing, takes forever to load anything, and I feel like I’m being forced to be patient for something I’m already paying for. The landline is just as bad — constant crackling, can barely hear the person on the other end, and sometimes it just cuts off completely. I’ve called support a few times, but nothing ever seems to properly get fixed. It’s really frustrating paying every month for a service that barely works. I wouldn’t recommend it
"Internet keeps cutting out again"
It’s getting really annoying now. TalkTalk keeps dropping out. One minute it’s fine, then suddenly nothing. Happens way too often. Not exactly what you want when you’re just trying to get online.

I’ve been with TalkTalk for a few months now, and the connection has been really unreliable. It’ll drop out in the middle of work calls, while streaming, or even when I’m just browsing. The router lights keep going off and on like it’s no big deal, but it’s happening far too often.
I’ve contacted customer service a few times, but it’s mostly the usual advice to restart the router or wait and see. The problem keeps coming back, so if anyone in the area is thinking of switching to TalkTalk, I’d definitely ask around first and check what others nearby are experiencing. I’m fed up with it at this point and wouldn’t recommend them based on my experience

"Cancelling turned into such a hassle"
I tried to cancel my TalkTalk account it was way more stressful than I expected. I kept getting passed from one person to another, and it felt like nobody really knew how to get it sorted. After all that, I still ended up being charged, which was so frustrating. I just wanted a simple cancellation, but it turned into a bit of a nightmare.

"Had to keep chasing for any updates"
The communication from TalkTalk was really frustrating. I kept waiting to hear what was going on, but nothing came through unless I chased them myself. And then when I did speak to someone, each person seemed to tell me something different, so I was just left thinking... what’s actually happening? Felt ignored the whole way through, and yeah, not happy with it at all.
